Vital Academy would never want finances to be the reason a family does not have a homeschool community, therefore we have limited funds in our budget for membership scholarships. These scholarships are rewarded on a case by case basis, and the decision is made by a board. If your family is experiencing a financial hardship but would like to be a part of this growing, active homeschool community; please complete this form. It's important to note that this scholarship, should it be rewarded, would only be for your membership dues for one year ($70). Annual family membership dues for Vital Academy are $70. This is for your entire family; whether you have one student or five students. The membership fee is good for one calendar year. We have limited funds in our budget to provide partial and full scholarships to qualifying families.

Please let us know if you would need to a full scholarship ($70) or a partial ($35) scholarship, or if you would like your membership dues deferred for up to three months.

Scholarships are awarded after a needs assesment and are decided upon by a team of individuals who are informed and updated on Vital Academy's budget. Please share as much details as you're comfortable with regarding why you are in need of this scholarship. Examples include: We are a one-income household since I've started homeschooling, and we do not have an extra $70 at this time; or we recently had a large medical expense and therefore we are unable to pay the $70 at this time, etc. This is an honor system - we will not be doing credit checks for verification purposes. We ask that you please be honest and only complete this form if there is a true need. Please understand that your approval could mean someone else who is in need may not be approved if the funds aren't in the budget.

Submitting this request does not mean I have been approved to receive a scholarship. This scholarship is ONLY for annual membership dues.
This scholarship does not include additional fees for events, field trips or co-op. This scholarship is only good for one calendar year.
When my family is up for renewal, I will attempt to pay the full amount or re-apply. This form is not to be shared with anyone else.
The approval process may take up to a month to complete. The approval is made by a board of trustees, and the director does not make the decision.
